How do I request designs?

At Poplab Unlimited, we understand the importance of flexibility in the design request process. Our primary platform for design requests is Trello, but we adapt to your preferences. Clients commonly request designs directly through Trello, share Google Docs or wireframes, or even provide briefs through a Loom video. We’re also happy to meet with you via video platforms like Zoom or Google Meet to ensure seamless collaboration.

The majority of our design requests are executed using Figma.

Who are the designers behind the designs?

You might be surprised to hear this, but Poplab is actually an agency of one. This means you’ll work directly with me, Dorian Tireli, founder of Poplab. For specialized requests such as animations, video or custom illustrations, we partner with experienced designers.

The majority of our design requests are executed using Figma and other leading design tools. Our workflow is AI-augmented to speed up processes, automate repetitive steps, and help ensure design consistency and quality.

How does the subscription pause feature work?

We understand that your design needs can vary from month to month. If you find yourself with just a few design requests or need to take a break, our pause feature has you covered. Here’s how it works: Our billing cycles are based on a 31-day period. Let’s say you’ve been using the service for 11 days, and you decide to pause your subscription. In this case, your billing cycle will be temporarily halted, and you’ll retain 20 days of service to use at your convenience in the future. This flexibility ensures that you only pay for the design work you need when you need it.

How do payments and invoices work?

Invoicing for Poplab Unlimited subscription plans is designed for your convenience. We offer two payment methods: Stripe and Bank transfer. Your invoice will be generated based on the country where you are located. VAT (Value Added Tax) will be calculated and included in the invoice total in accordance with the applicable tax laws. It’s important to note that if you have a valid EU VAT number, we will not charge VAT on your invoice.

Do you offer onsite meetings at our location?

Absolutely, we can arrange onsite meetings at your preferred location, whether it’s at your offices or another designated venue. However, please keep in mind that any costs related to travel, accommodation, and other expenses incurred by our team for onsite meetings will be invoiced separately. We are committed to working closely with you to ensure that the meeting arrangements align with your project requirements. Feel free to reach out to us to discuss and schedule an onsite meeting.

Is there any design work you don’t cover?

Poplab Unlimited does not cover the following design work:

Where do you source design assets?

At Poplab Unlimited, we strive to deliver high-quality designs by sourcing assets from reputable free services like Unsplash, Google Fonts, Vecteezy, and others. These sources ensure that your designs incorporate top-notch visual elements. Additionally, we welcome and encourage customers to provide their own assets if they have specific visual elements they’d like to include.

While we primarily use free design assets to keep costs transparent and accessible, we can certainly incorporate paid design assets if you prefer. Please keep in mind that any costs associated with paid assets will be invoiced separately, ensuring full clarity in your billing.
